Hamburg Innovation GmbH is a technology transfer service company that serves all Hamburg universities. Its core business activities are initiating and managing technical and scientific cooperation projects between science and business and exploiting R&D results by granting licenses and launching business start-ups.

As a bridge between science and business, we provide management instruments and process-supporting measures and also assume financial and contractual responsibility. Responsibility for the content implementation of application-oriented research remains with the universities.

Our guiding objective is to expand and enhance the efficiency of collaboration between Hamburg universities and private enterprise, politics and administration.
